b2

I figure this thread has been a long time coming. But I feel it is appropriate that we honor the resident rock star of WSO with our thoughts on his greatness. In addition, this is a great opportunity to ask questions and gain insight from the man, the myth, the legend himself - b2.

Hey b2 - two questions:

1) What rates are you offering on jumbo CDs at your branch this week?

2) I think I saw you other day when I needed a midnight snack: http://www.heiferman.com/mcd/fry_guy4.jpg When did you decide to take up a second job just to be able to pay your cell phone bill?

b2 just sucks. supposedly he has been an intern at many banks, went directly from being an intern to a full time employee and then he seems to have 10 years of experience. i mean, no measly first year banker could know as much as he does. what a stud.

did anyone else notice that his comeback on the other thread was his LSAT score? i don't knwo abotu you guys, but i had to take the GMAT to get into b-school and get a job offer on the street.

Whatever, everyone knows b2 probably lies about at least 1/2 of his accomplishments. He provides nothing constructive to any post, and at best annoys people and at worst brings people down.

He is pretty ostentatious at times, but I have to admit that I enjoy logging in to WSO and seeing what kind of insults/boasts/responses b2 has drummed up. I think it's funny to read all the back-and-forth going on with him and a few other posters.

This role was inspired by b2...

b2 arriving to the teller line at WaMu: "Gangsta's, whats up guys?"

b2 when he opens a new CD: "Chicka chicka yea figga eee figga eee"

b2 when he calls 1-900 lines: "I am McLovin"

b2's comeback when someone threatens: "Oh really, well you don't have the technology or the steady hand to pull off a procedure like that, so HA, peace"

b2 when he finds someone dumb enough to believe him when he says he works in finance: "It's in, oh my god it's in"

------------ I'm making it up as I go along.

B2 might be abrasive but that is expected in an anonymous message board. One of the main strengths of this board is the wealth of information. Each contributor brings a data point in which the other user can make judgments and opinions. Personally I don't care about a person's quirks as long as I can collect information from him. A good amount of his posts are just superfluous but he has in the past provided some relevant information. Of course my opinion is debatable but I am just pointing out the contrarian view.

don't worry guys...he will post on this thread when he's done sorting the mail.

So what do you do? -I work for an investment banking firm. Oh okay; you are like my brother, he works for Edward Jones. -No, a college degree is required in my profession

Reality hits you hard, bro...

You had to go ahead and make a whole thread on the guy!

i guess he doesn't have anything else smart to say because he won't step up and defend himself on here. if he does respond, he will start the post by laughing, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA" and telling us how stupid we all are and how he is some all powerful MD somewhere (he has been promoted, didn't you hear?).

what he won't do, is actually address any of the points made against him. what a moron.

He ran away after some of us (including myself) decided to write a complaint to the SEC after his "Overheard at my bank...Barclays is bankrupt" post. Should be funny to see what he does next.
