BBC Show Traders: Millions by the Minute

Did anyone watch this?

Here's the link but idk if you can watch iplayer in the US http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b04j525k/traders-millions-by-the-m…

Premise is this: They follow the 'stories' of people in different walks of 'trading'. There is a London based chop-shop training program run by ex-BB traders, a family run Chicago pit trading firm, a NYC arcade trader and the final two are a hedge fund manager, also NYC with $200M AUM http://www.metrocap.net/index.php (the fact that she is a self described value investor didn't seem to bother the production team in including her in the show, but anyway she has been on some other shows too CNBC etc) and a guy who heads a sizable algo trading firm based in Amsterdam.

There wasn't a huge amount of depth given its a BBC show airing at 8 PM but nice to see some airtime being devoted to the industry which doesn't set out to vilify everyone. Curious if people saw it and what they thought?

I just watched this on You Tube (just search for the title) and didn't see anything new for the reader of WSO. If you are on the path to becoming a trader, ask yourself "Do I really have the time to watch this?"

I think you over estimate how pressed for time a university student is.
