I love Musk. He's a billionaire out of... selling libs overpriced cars that he produces with their government subsidies, which he also used to mine cryptos. Unsatisfied, he dunks on them all the time.

Just for that, he's my hero.

Also realized that cryptos are a cult and he has the magic power to send them through the roof with memes on twitter. Truly the smartest man on earth.

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.

Controversial

The modern conservative mindset in summary: no concern for policy, morality, ethics.  All that matters is owning the libs, which is something they chase like a crackhead looking for a hit.

Ethics and morality: identify evil and fight it.

Libs are evil.

You can guess what's the next step.

Not that far off.  Except the end game isn't to own the libs, it's to expunge everything that they believe in from western society.  Used to be very philosophical in political beliefs, then the libs became commies who are openly at odds w/ every western cultural norm up to and including the most basic systems of logic and categorization that date back to Aristotle.  At that point, I realized that the libs, who are akin to a hoard of bubonic plague carrying rats, needed to be alienated from power more than we need every elected Republican to be an objectivist who wants to institute a flat tax and eliminate entitlements.

hero worship (whether it's athletes, celebs, politicians, moguls, etc.) is pretty lame trait to have - but as a generation am more optimistic that Gen Z has a bit of hustle to them and idolizes people like Musk over Millennials (my generation) idolizing AOC, Sanders, etc.

Although it is unfortunately diminishing, there is still a chunk of the American populace who thinks that commies are terrible ppl who shouldn't be welcomed in public/decent society.  Dude pushes policies/ideology that killed 200mm+ in the last century onto stupid and impressionable young people, so I can forgive a slightly off-color tweet about him pretty fucking easily.

I come from down in the valley, where mister when you're young, they bring you up to do like your daddy done

You don't own Bernie with comments like this.  You own him by being a successful person who creates value in this world and employs people while he doesn't do anything for anyone out of his own pocket and effort.

If Musk wants to show he's so great, then he should stop breaking labor laws and securities rules and play fairly.  If you want to create value, by all means go ahead, but don't break the law to get there.

Guy makes the cars that libs have been dreaming about for decades and you still shit on him - shows exactly what is wrong with liberals. You should be thanking him every fucking day of your life for popularizing green cars.
