This year it costs $7 million for 30 seconds for commercials.
It is so irresponsible for California to be hosting such a huge public event during a global pandemic. Think of how many people in that audience were not wearing masks or are unvaccinated, spreading this deadly disease and then taking it with them back to whatever corners of the country they flew in from. I for one am appalled that Governor Newsom did not weild his executive authority to put a stop to this madness. 🤡
Any indoor event requires you to be vaccinated + the NFL has encouraged vaccination pretty strongly.
I'm not sure why you've not grasped that the issue isn't spread BUT the fact that spread led to hospitalization. The vaccine works at reducing hospitalization rates, which means if people are vaccinated, they're not going to end up in hospital so that's not the problem.
Deaths and hospitalizations are largely from the unvaccinated.
Ok Doritos Cheetos commercial with the animals is best so far. Most commercials seem kind of weak this year.

Among the ones I sort of watched, I liked the one with current Lebron and the younger Lebron.
I actually wasn't a fan of that. Felt like it was another way for Lebron to just show off his arrogance again and then market it to convince people to buy crypto.

Yeah I was surprised how much a lot of them sucked so much. Seemed like many were affirmation of a brand rather than entertainment value and comedic factor. The ads should be entertaining and outline the brand.
what was interesting is how Super Bowl commercials try to capture the zeitgeist of the times, and in this case it was all crypto exchanges, electric cars, and hard seltzers.
The one that caught my attention was the Chevy Silverado Electric Truck. As soon as I heard the opening riff to Alabama 3's "Woke up this morning", it had my attention. The coolest part is that they got David Chase and the entire Sopranos team to recreate the opening

I think most ads are getting worse. It seems many corporations are being extremely careful due to the potential of a backlash on twitter if they say/do something that can upset a certain group of people.
The Larry David commercial, hands down the best. From hilarity to proving its point.
