Best Apartment Complexes in Houston, TX

What are the best apartment complexes in Houston? Also, what are the best areas to live in if I’ll be working downtown?

Options are to either be downtown and closer to the office or midtown and be closer to nightlife etc. For dowtown, would recommend Market Square Tower or Aris Market Square. Avoid The Rice. It should be nice, but the retro-fitted air-conditioners are obnoxiously loud, and the poor insulation means your electricity bills will be stupid high.

Given COVID, I wouldn't really recommend downtown. Even before COVID, main street was quite sketch with the homeless population. The heights have really taken off these past few years ( the new midtown in my opinion). I really like Yale on 6th and chances are you are going to be going to Mcntyres or Wicklow Heights so it is a good location. Also pretty close to downtown if you work there.
