Best cities for dating?

I (30M) have been in Phoenix for several years, and I've got to move. Tired of this place. What are the best cities to date mid/late 20s girls in? NYC, DC, San Diego, Chicago, Boston, Charleston? Open to any options at this point.

Brother, you have access to Scottsdale baddies and normal people. High average attractiveness. Also normal people. Most likely more of a you issue than a Phoenix issue. Do not come to NYC. I wish I could be there.

Been to Phoenix here and live around NYC. Honestly was absurd how good looking the average women were especially around Scottsdale / Tempe (granted that's around ASU's campus).

If you want a more diverse dating pool (different ethnicities / backgrounds) then yeah, I can see how PHX in't a great fit.

Don't know much about Charleston or Boston. But DC / Chicago / NYC are probably solid options if you're looking for diversity.

I just find they are not many super educated people here, but maybe I'm in the wrong circles. I haven't been to NYC for years, but I just assumed girls were way hotter there on average in certain neighborhoods. Also yea lots of hot girls around ASU's campus but I'm not 19 anymore.

Interesting. It is a me issue. I don't have a problem getting dates really, but mostly mid people. You don't think it's way easier to get dates with educated/attractive girls in NYC?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, here are some insights into cities for dating:

  1. New York City (NYC): NYC is often highlighted as a top spot for dating, especially for single men in their 20s and 30s. The city offers a vibrant nightlife, diverse social scenes, and a high concentration of young professionals. However, it can be expensive, and the dating culture leans toward casual and exploratory relationships.

  2. Chicago: Chicago is praised for its affordability compared to NYC and its friendly, approachable dating scene. It's easier to impress on dates without breaking the bank, and the city has plenty of fun activities, from Cubs games to great restaurants and nightlife.

  3. San Diego: Known for its laid-back vibe, beautiful weather, and outdoor activities, San Diego is a great option if you're into a more relaxed dating culture. The city attracts active, health-conscious individuals, making it ideal for those who enjoy outdoor adventures.

  4. Boston: Boston offers a mix of intellectual and social opportunities, with a strong presence of young professionals and students. It's a smaller city compared to NYC but still has a lively dating scene.

  5. Charleston: Charleston is a charming, smaller city with a slower pace of life. It’s ideal if you’re looking for a more traditional or family-oriented dating culture.

  6. Washington, DC: DC has a highly educated and ambitious population, making it a great place to meet driven and career-focused individuals. The dating scene is competitive but rewarding for those who enjoy intellectual connections.

Each city has its unique vibe, so your choice should depend on your lifestyle preferences, budget, and the type of dating culture you’re seeking. If you're looking for a mix of affordability, fun, and approachable people, Chicago might be a standout option. For a fast-paced, diverse scene, NYC is hard to beat.

Charleston forsure. I remember first time I went down there and we’re waiting for all of these students from the college of Charleston to cross the street and it was like 30 girls. The guy to girl ratio felt like 2-1 and they’re mostly blonde southern girls, super easy to talk with.

Honestly wish I went to college down there cause I would’ve had an amazing fucking time. San Diego was alright, Phoenix surprisingly had a lot of pretty girls, and Chicago lot of big 10 grads.
