Best college you know someone transferred from community college

Met a guy that spent 2 years in community college and then then transferred to NYU Stern. You guys know any people that went to community college then transferred to an upper tier university?

Know a kid who was supposed to go to a service academy, had some unfortunate situation come up, transfer back home and complete his associates degree within two semesters and then ended up transferring to Brown. Granted he had a lot of help from the athletics department (was an NCAA athlete) but still...oh yeah and he studied at LSE for a full academic year after transferring to Brown.

Pasadena City College --> Yale --> Master's at Oxford --> accepted to Yale and Harvard Law School

You are not guaranteed any admission to any school unless its a CA State School (CSU Long Beach, Cal Poly), the UC System (UC Berkeley, UCLA) and privates don't count for 'guaranteed admission'

Went from California CC ---> BerkeleyHaas, even landed my first IB gig the Summer Before I transferred & now have another SA role for this Summer. It's certainly possible.
