Career Resources
Cuban - Sophie's Thai - @ Nine Vietnamese - Obao Dim Sum - Dim Sum Palace Mexican - Al Horno, Mi Nidito Deli - Toasties Late night - Majestic
Toasties and Obao keep me alive
Mexican: Al Hormo for sure
Several years of experience here, these answers are legit.
One minor change - just get v{iv} Thai instead of @Nine. You will not be disappointed.
Sophies and Dim Sum palace also amazing.
Empanada Mama recently started delivering all over Manhattan even though they're in LES. Open all night, great food.
Empanada Mama is in Hell's Kitchen too! Not sure if it's new or not but walked past it the other day
bump
Tao, Lavo, Hatsuhana, Dig Inn, Glaze, Shun Lee, etc.
Can vouch for Shun Lee - Szechuan Crispy Beef is great.
Chinese: Joe's Shanghai and Cafe China Vietnamese: Cha Pa Sushi: Abumi Others: Glaze Chicken Teriyaki
Cafe China for sure. Think it has/had 1 michelin star
Naya. Killer middle eastern food
Naya is incredible
Second that...totally forgot
this post is a game changer
Ravagh. Get the steak kebab w/ grilled veggies
Ive needed something like this thread for so long. All the associates around me are useless...
Second Majestic; Cosmic Diner is good too (only place that cuts a hole in the styrofoam so the fries stay crispy). Bareburger for rough days 'Wichcraft for Sandwiches (think this is the place that includes popcorn with everything) Num Pang for Asian Fusion Angelo's for Pizza Bar Kogi for wings/appetizer type food
For barbecue; Mighty Quinn's on the UES is the best but takes a while. Virgil's is the fastest for midtown; but notably worse.
Oh man, I miss Dhaba! soooo good
Sophie's is trash. If you ever want good cubanese(Cuban Chinese fusion) go to Flor De Mayo on the UWS
red poke from hell’s kitchen is pretty good for a poke bowl (healthy but meaty)
BUMP for the summer interns
