ok yes, so...most guys like it kind of cold and most women get cold pretty quickly. There is a constant battle there. At the same time, people are fine with wearing jackets in the office, which I am not ok with.

I like it pretty hot like 80 degrees in the room but people start yelling: "IT'S PRETTY HOT, RIGHT?" until someone acknowledges them. This girl did this to us last week. She said it a few times until someone said something: "No, it's just you." Not the response I was looking for (or for that matter, anyone was looking for) but ok. That's a whole other story. Ok...a senior member walks over to talk to an analyst about where he is with the CIM...classic. He hears the fuss and says to lower the temp, man. I'm freaking out because I don't want it to get cold. But people will see if the thermostat gets touched. People touch it and move it down. I prepare for the rapturous and enticing cold waves to slowly decrease my productivity and make me shiver: "Ohhhh!"

Five minutes later, I am shivering and it's not good. I say quietly: "It's pretty cold, right?" My coworker besides me yells: "DUDE, I'M FREEZING!!!" No answer from the rest of the slackers and people. Somehow, my body adjusts...or maybe someone else increased the temp. Let me spend my protected Saturday thinking about what to do in the future. "MYSTERY?!"

No, but seriously though, just be glad if there is a thermostat in the office that you can adjust. Imagine if there was no thermostat and you're sitting there freezing.
