Better off: Average Hilary vs Average Trump supporter

As an independent, I have friends with allegiances to both party lines, and being in private school most of my life, all of the Trump supporters that I know come from conservative, well off, white males, whereas the Hilary supporters are more diverse. The media has stated that what Trump has been wildly successful at has been appealing to the lowest common denominator; Southern white men, people from small town America, or people with no college education, who have lost their jobs and feel frustrated by the current state of American politics. The liberals aren't innocent either as Hillary has taken advantage of the Black Lives Matter movement, immigration, and other issues to gain that demographic's support. One of my wealthy white buddies recently made a statement saying how all these muslims and black people that support Hillary are getting a false sense of promise and even if she is elected, nothing will change for them. That you can't substitute hard work and have things given to you by the Government to have a better life. Then someone chimed in and said that Hillary has taken the lower class vote and used it to her advantage.

As Trump continues to say more thing that question whether he has the judgement to be president, I start to question some of his supporters. I commented to my friend's statement and asked him if he had to choose between the average Trump supporter and average Clinton supported and guess who is more well off, educated, cultured, and knowledgeable who he would pick. My guess is the Clinton supporters by a wide margin. What do you all think?

there are polls showing that Trump could be the 1st republican in decades (about 60 years) to lose the college educated white vote and you think it's the media "pushing a narrative"? I swear blaming the media is the new blame wall street.
