Big Swinging Dick Status

I have heard this term thrown around a lot. I know a lot of MD's have it, I have heard a director make claims of his status. I was wondering when do I hit Big Swinging Dick status? Would I reach it earlier in PE or a hedge fund? Does the firm I work at make a difference, or is it all the same as long as I bring in the clients? I am pretty sure I have Little Dangling Dick status right now (will be a SA), but drastically want to grow my penis (metaphorically speaking of course).

How do I make "Pocket Protector Dude" status? I have heard salespeople and traders whisper about it at work all the time when I am coming and going, but I'm concerned they're talking about other quants and programmers. Is there anything else I need to do to make it to this rank at the bank besides wearing an obnoxiously large pocket protector, wearing thick-rimmed glasses, and talking with a really whiny voice that makes people cringe? How long do I have to do this for?

Finally, after making PPD, what does it take to make BOFH?

Booooo!! Sub-par trolling effort.

I can't tell if this is a 2nd rate post or a 2nd rate troll. Dude, BSD = bring in $hitloads of revenue. The details are irrelevant, oh little dangler.

Hahaha, OP should change his moniker to little dangler.
