Would you guys consider the below scenario as “shit-talking” or “talking shit behind someone’s back”?

Person A is speaking privately to Person B in which he makes comments regarding Person C. Person B brought up Person C in the conversation. The comments aren’t derogatory but C wouldn’t be happy to hear them as they’re relatively negative more akin to “constructive criticism” (e.g. “he talks too much” or “she’s a drama queen”). The caveat is A has already made these same comments to C in a prior conversation as he is blunt in nature.
