I've got a set of 2x4s, a shovel, kitty litter and a box of survival snacks in the trunk of my car, a fresh new set of Nokian WRG3 tires, an All Wheel Drive car and I don't have to be in tomorrow or Wednesday. I'm going out early tomorrow and enjoying some real winter driving!
I've also got enough food to make 4 days of 3 course dinners and 2 course lunches, a dozen or so bottles of wine, a few bottles of Whiskey, 2 cases of beer, Netflix, HBOGo, a fully stocked cable package, Amazon Prime, Video Games and books to keep me busy. I think I'll be golden.

What's everyone doing? Roads not terrible but sidewalks are pretty bad and there's zero cabs or subway outside....looks like I'm just gonna work from home
The guy who makes my breakfast omelette biked to work (took him one hour and there were some slips and falls). I took the 9am subway to a desolate midtown. There are two people on my floor.
We are getting dumped on in Boston and the city is essentially shut down - it is illegal to drive and the subway is closed
Survival kit includes 12 pack of Sam Adams, a nice bottle of wine, pound+ of chocolate, and a ton of nachos :)

Lol, 6 inches of snow and Ohare is open. Denver has only ever suspended operations like twice and both times they got like 2 feet of snow in a day.
