Bored at work - what should I learn?

I'm currently interning at a MM asset manager and have had nothing to do most days. I've asked my manager for extra assignments, sat in on all of the calls/meetings open to me, and tried to connect with other employees in the office. However, I'm still struggling to fill much of my time, and am sick of scrolling through social media. I'm an incoming SA 2024 at a tech-focused boutique IB, are there any skills that people would recommend spending time learning now? I have access to PPT, Excel, and Bloomberg through work, so I was planning on starting with those, but any additional suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Read up on financial instruments and different derivatives strategies if you’re at an AM already, it’s great to have the grasp on technicals and products. If you’re rather looking to build skills or focus on the next IB stint then maybe read up the news regularly while at work, study some modelling tips and tricks & put them to use.
