I lived right near the Fenway t stop area. Niche area but it’s very good - t stop is accessible, dry cleaner nearby, good food, and pretty good rent per head 1400 ish.

Depends on where you need to go for work. I’d live at a college campus if just a summer and rent a dorm. BU is a decent choice as are many of the others in Boston. If you’re doing stuff in Cambridge, there are plenty of additional options. Cambridge is a fun place to be in its own right.
