Anybody watch breaking bad? I finished season 4 and am just totally shocked at how that went... I mean wow.
How has season 5 been? Also, I'm going to state my (obvious) theories about how I think it'll end:
- Walt dies (obviously)
- Some people think Walt will kill Skyler??
- Walt kills Jesse
- Walt fakes his own death (I think)
- Jesse dies somehow (no doubt Walt's fault)
- Hank is going to die
Any thoughts? Personal theories? I've binged on this show pretty heavy for the last three weeks and am totally shocked at how good it actually is. Feel free to spoil things for me, as I'm weak in the face of suspense.
I thought season 4 of breaking bad was maybe the best single season of TV ever and definitely my favorite. Season 5 definitely keeps the momentum going! I don't want to give away any spoilers if you're not totally caught up but I think you gotta add Jesse kills Walt to your theory list.

I lol'ed at this. Now that I'm home I'm binging again like one of the tweakers on the show, just finished S5E04. I see some big problems developing here with Mike.
Also, Walt is an asshole for continuing to stir shit up. His ego has definitely got the best of him now, without any doubt. I always said "fuck it, he's under threat of death, he's making the best decisions he can think of." But now, his manipulation is purely voluntary. Also, I feel as though that Brock kid is going to cause some problems somehow later on. He sat there in the living room with the guy who nearly got him killed - I'm a retard if that doesn't signify SOME sort of foreshadowing.
And what the fuck happened to good guy "Mr. Chips the Chemistry teacher" Walter White? It's only been about a year in Breaking Bad time, and Walt has completely forgotten that he was a clean guy for 50 years. You'd think that by now he decides to call it quits and find another high school to go teach at. I mean sure, normal life is boring, but he was all about it not long ago.
And when the hell is Hank going to close in on this guy?? It's been an ongoing thread of the story since episode 1.
And, final final final thought on everything: SO MANY of the bad things that have happened on this show would not have transpired if Walter simply hadn't flipped Jane over and let her gag on her own chorkle. I know she blackmailed him but think of what would have happened: she and Jesse would move to New Zealand and never be seen again. Walt, without his partner, would simply have taken his share of the cash and lived happily ever after. Or gone back to it anyway.
Walter White is a dick.
Dude the WW you thought you knew is no more. He genuinely enjoying being a badass now. Someone is gunna die soon...get ready!

I think the endgame will be Walt vs. Lydia/Todd/Aryans.

Both Walt and Jessee have enough money to fuck off forever. I don't get why they aren't doing that. Probably some mental issues.
Because it is so easy to just quit when you're the best meth producer in the country. I'm sure no one will come after you.
Staying in the meth business isn't going to help abate people coming after you. The twins would have killed him if he hadn't been involved with Gus, but after the 3-month contract was over, he could simply have sold his formula to Gus or given it for free as a price to get out.
I think that even aside from that instance, Walt had many opportunities to engineer an escape from the industry. But it's like @Gollini said before: it's not the same WW; he's just a criminal now.
And on the topic of your ending: I get the feeling everyone is going to get busted. There's enough evidence to implicate Walt 1000x over. I personally think that Jesse is going to talk. There's no way that those assault rifles in Walt's trunk will serve the purpose we all hope that they do - the show just isn't predictable that way. Last time we saw a burnt teddy bear, we got to find out how it fell from the sky in a mid-air collision caused by - no, not Jane's father - our own WW.
At this point, I'm fairly ambivalent about potential endings. The only thing I'm positive about is that I want Walt to die a humiliatingly ironic death, where his ego and hubris are smacked back into his face and right before he croaks, it all dawns on him: "I'm just an old chemistry teacher who got in way over my head."
Jesse tries to kill Walt, which leads to Walt killing him. He then fakes his own death and escapes prosecution through that video he made. He and Skyler live happily ever after, with their children in some country without extradition agreements.
I get that people will try to come after him, but him and Jessee could afford to charter a private flight to anywhere and live like kings for the rest of their lives with private security 24/7. Go to Belize or some shit. How is anybody going to find them and what would they even do?
The Hank-Walt dynamic is really interesting. Hank got crippled because of Walt. But Walt's money made him better again.
The latest episode was easily one of the best episodes so far. I won't go into detail due to possible spoilers, but the DVD was just brilliant.
I actually think Walt will die by the end, and Jesse will remain alive and start anew finally.
But it's Breaking Bad, rarely are things predictable in this show.
S5E06. This shit is crazy. WW is here talking about, "in a year, once we've cooked through this methylamine, we'll have plenty of time for soul-searching." He wouldn't quit if he got the whole tanker of the stuff.
Edit: further crazy shit. Now that Mike and Jesse have a perfect exit strategy put together, this idiot Walt won't take it. He has "nothing left." Can't wait to see this guy get blown up by a grenade or some shit lol.

So I just caught up completely. Got to S5E11. I've watched so much of this show over the last 36 hours that I dreamt up part of the ending:
Jesse kill Skyler somehow, is then killed by police or DEA agents, and both Walt and Hank agree to place the blame for everything on him. Jesse can cook, Jesse was at the scene of various murders, and he has no leverage against the conviction otherwise (seeing as how he'll be dead). It would be very, very easy to just lay it out and say that he is Heisenberg.
Walt returning to town with all the guns is some tangent that serves as an epilogue of sorts. Can't explain it.
Why was Jesse throwing money out? Like, I get that life's been stressful and shit, but it hasn't been that fucking bad.
