As long as it's friendly and doesn't piss or shit on anything important I don't really see a problem with. At a BB bank it probably violates something in their tremendous rule book, but at a HF that you're relatively high ranking at, you should be ok.

Totally depends on the office/environment. Frankly, I'm probably too conservative for that, but one of my colleagues (a 30 y/o PhD-level quant) frequently brings in his bunny. The bunny's name is 'mittens'.
RavenousLots of smaller hedge funds allow this, depends on the office culture. Ask your boss. Practically everyone I work with brings their dog in sometimes.
Yes, this is what I was thinking of. It is me and one other analyst. We have a bunch of sales guys and one IB analyst in the office. The company's upper brass is at this location. Totally chill culture, get lunch catered in everyday, personal trainers come in twice every day to staff the office work out room. Not a bad place to work lol.

BernankeyDo you keep your dog at home when you're at work? I feel bad leaving mine for 12 hours alone. Considering maybe putting her in a doggy day care
I just bought her at a charity auction on saturday. Don't even have her yet lol.

I interned at a PE office for a couple semesters while I was in school. One of the partners frequently brought in his dog. I think it's cool and would bring mine in if I had one.

I couldn't bring mine in just because he is too hyper. He'd be trying to get people to pay attention to him and wouldn't sit still. So since you don't have her yet you might want to wait and see what her demeanor is.
Also, someone at my office brought in their dog when they came in on the weekend. Apparently the dog shit in the corner of the room and the guy didn't realize. It was also during an extremely hot summer. Two days later people came in and the whole office smelled fucking terrible.

Considering she was trained by the military, I would imagine she is very disiplined.

You should do it.
You work at the office, not us. Does it seem like a good idea?

train it to bite some fucker you don't like
No need to train her, part of why I spent 35K on her lol.
Shepard of some sort? Belgium maybe?
Any links to the place you got her? I've looked at getting a highly trained dog like that.
