Bringing Flasks into Bars

I bought some flasks from Ragproper in order to save money when going out to bars on weekends. Its honestly been a lifesaver. I just put it in the inside pocket of my bomber jacket, and as long as I'm not super obvious about it, no one knows I have it. Door guys in San Francisco dont give a shit about patting people down either. Having it easily saves me 40 bucks from not having to buy drinks. Anyone have other hacks when hitting the bars to save money?

Just checked them out on Amazon and bought the darker leather 240ml one. Was at the alma mater this last weekend and had to sneak some nips in my boots, wish I would’ve had it then.

For the value though, it seems like breakeven occurs after first or second outing to said bar. 240 ml is almost 5.5 shots going off 44ml shot pour. You probably need to buy one drink to just have in hand so $20 + $60 flask + 1/3 of woodford double oak gives you roughly $100 upfront. Call it profitable after 5 bar bought drinks.

I'd think ordering a non-alcoholic drink at the bar would be a large red flag and the bartender would at least notify security to keep their eye on you. Almost think getting an alcoholic beverage then adding from your flask as you consume would provide a similar reward for much less risk. I don't think a bartender would (or should) say anything directly to you since there is possibility of battling addictions, but you are in a bar. Security staff at bars are some of the biggest hardos on the planet and look for any chance to exercise their authority.

this reminded me when I was I ibiza a looong time ago we went to a beach bar, got a jug of sangria for 20 EUR, then went to the shop (store) and got a few cartons of sangria for less than 1 EUR at the time, and just kept re-filling the jug up.

I just got a flashback of coming out of the shop in ibiza, a kid about 7yrs old was trying to shadow box us inside the store, but he was punching us in the nuts with boxing gloves on, when I walked out with the sangria, my friend had him swinging around in circles in the air by his arms for an uncomfortably long time lmfao

I’ve gone to clubs with a couple of shooters in my back pocket. Still end up paying like 25 bucks for multiple drinks but downing a couple of tequila shots while in line for the bathroom helps save a few bucks, lol.

My buddy snuck a 750 of everclear into a joint where Paul Oakenfold was performing. Needless to say I have zero memory of the show and woke up under a kitchen table.

I went to see Paul Oakenfold in Beijing and they sold us a 750ml bottle of Jack Daniels for only $60. It was crazy - it was me and my friend Johnny - we just passed the bottle back and forth until we finished it.

A 750 of JD for $60? That's nuts! And wolfofwso a 750 of Everclear? That belongs in trashcan punch. Also head nod to Oakenfold. Just made me think of the movie Collateral. "Ready! Steady! Go!"
