Bumps

Dumb Q of the morning... what the heck does everybody mean when they write 'bump' after messages?

Is it a response such as to say that the prior post was lame and no worth the time to read/respond?

Someone clue me in please. Thx.

they bump the tread to the top of the forum so more people come across it and/or comment on their seemingly unimportant thread.

aadpepsiHmmm... that's what it means?

Well then, I guess we have a lot of self important people on the forum!!!

i was kidding, didn't know people hadn't been on a forum before.

What would be ironic, is if we posted on this thread so often it never needed bumping.

PS: don't feel bad, I always wondered what that meant as well.
