Burning Man

Sup Everyone,

I was just curious, does anyone here go to Burning Man? I recently lost a very close friend who went for the first time last year and really wanted me to come with him sometime in the future. I now have to go at least once to honor him, but it's also just something I really think I'd enjoy. So, do any of you guys and girls burn? What has your experience with it been like? I've talked to his family who also goes and other people I know, but I have grown to kind of value the WSO opinion on stuff. Weird, I know. Regardless, I'd love to hear anything you have to say!

Thx

P.S. If you're super opposed to the ideas behind Burning Man and just want to shit talk it with no real experience to back it up, please just don't bother commenting. You definitely have better things to do with your time than that.

I'm sorry for your loss. Unfortunately I can't say anything as far as having gone, but I'm very interested in going at some point. I've heard a lot of interesting things about it, the amount of preparation and dedication that people have for it is pretty crazy. Could be something to look into next year.

It looks like so much fun! He said it was the most meaningful experience of his life. I really wanna go and if it becomes a routine thing I'm definitely building one of those mutant vehicles. Maybe a ufo or something.

Dayman?

There are people out there who like to just shit talk stuff like that and put it down for being "hippie shit" or whatever. Kind of the response when I talked about it with fellow analysts little while ago. Idk why people have to judge something so hard.

"Nightman Cometh" "hippie shit"

I asked my friend about it and he said the exact same thing.
