TL:DR My dad has a Logitech G25 racing wheel and pedal system. What's the next upgrade under $500?
In light of the fact that Father's day is tomorrow, I have yet to get my dad a gift. So what better time to think about one than now?
Background, my dad is an avid car enthusiast and racer. He goes to the track (NJMP if anyone here is a member there) at least twice a month and puts up very respectable times. Even before quarantine he started putting together a legit racing sim rig. See example from online below. He has a PC setup if that matters.
He already has the bucket seat, G25 set up as previously mentioned, and a triple monitor setup. I was thinking of getting a seat rumbler or possibly a new pedal rig? It seems the G25 is a favorite in the community.

Under $500 bucks is gonna be either a Fanatec clubs port wheel or a Thrustmaster T300RS. Just FYI, they are probably both sold out at the moment, and it might take over 2 months to get a Fanatec order. Also, while you’re at it, check out Endor AG’s stock (Fanatec’s parent company), you may be surprised.
But if you are going to go with pedals, Thrustmaster is known for having the better pedals out of the two
