Can I take the CFA lvl 1 in my freshmen year?

I finished my 1st year of uni and signed up for my December lvl 1 exam... They didn't ask for any proofs or documents for enrollment requirements so I guess that means it is okay to take the exam even if your not in the final year of undergrad or had 4 years of experience?.. Will this be problematic in the future when I apply for the chartholder?

anyone who had taken the exam similar to my case please tell me your stories!!

Yeah but I have already registered for the exam in December plus I am currently doing my military service for 2 years (that's why I considered CFA in the fisrt place to keep myself busy and educated)..

I am just curious if I will be troubled in the future for the fact that I sat the exam without the enrollment requirements. I heard CFA guys don't really check the requirements for lvl 1 exam but will they give you shit later when you apply for the charter!

There is no time limit, once you pass a level, it will stay with you. However, they do require you to be in the final year of undergrad in order to enroll (or have some combo of full-time work experience and schooling, which I'd assume a freshman does meet), so you can't really get a jump start on it til senior year.

Go to the CFA Institute website and read up on the program requirements and all the other details.
