Can you get ahead in the industry by bringing others around you (on your same level) down?

If you're a new 1st-year Analyst at a finance corporation, should you report every little flaw of your other Analyst co-workers to the superiors and Human Resources Office as often as you can(Flaws like in their work/productivity efficiency)? So when the time comes when the Higher-Ups decides who will get a promotion, they can see the flaws of your Analyst co-workers class and promote you instead?

Yeah that's a great idea. Be sure to email a copy of every single mistake your fellow analysts make to your MD. I would also copy in your fellow analysts so they know you mean business. This way, you establish yourself as the alpha of the analyst class. Don't worry about group morale.

Sir, this is a Wendy’s.
