Cannabis in High Finance??

Anyone here like to destress by lighting up a bowl of weed after a long week of work?

Was thinking this could help with relaxation and falling asleep faster, but unsure about the affects towards mental clarity or motivation (have historically found memory & motivation to decline a bit for a few days after smoking).

Was wondering if there was a way to have the benefits of weed without the side effects. Any suggestions?

Hell yeah man - weed is tight. Agreed on the negative effects. Only way I’ve found to limit it is:

  1. Don’t get absolutely blasted. You get the same benefits / relaxation with less.

  2. Keep it to the weekends or at least hold off until Thursday / Friday. I don’t think it hurts my motivation but definitely makes me less sharp. I like to have 100% clean Sundays and get a nice sweat in on Sunday or early on Monday’s so I’m sharp again.

Edit: I highly recommend a pax. I don’t think the vape carts are good for you but it’s much easier to control your quantity. Pax is healthier and more customizable (control of quantity and temp).

Yes weed is tight.

Also, they shadowbanned this thread so it’s not bumping anymore. Why is weed so controversial and alcohol is not?

Just smoke on a Friday afternoon then do a nice workout on Sunday + 1 hour in Sauna

This is where a lot of people get tripped up, mistaking sedation for quality sleep. Alcohol does the same thing. You feel like you’re resting, but your brain’s doing cleanup duty instead of recovery

Interesting how many of us are landing on the same conclusion which is moderation or nothing. I’ve found sauna + CBD helps scratch the same itch without hitting cognitive performance

I wish.
