How common is the development of cardiovascular issues as a result of working in high finance? I am in my mid 30d and have treated high bp and slightly elevated cholesterol. Biggest challenge for me is consistent exercise. Is this normal? Not quite at the level of severity requiring a career change, but I do wonder if it ratchets up a bit more perhaps I should.

Had a senior I used to work with go to the doctor because his resting bpm was 120. Another colleague got fatty liver (probably from alcohol). Another one left the office early for a trip to the ER from a vape induced stress episode. Quiet health issues are pretty common in this industry.
