ceo made me look stupid even tho i was right

I am currently interning at a small consulting boutique where all the interns are working closely with the seniors and even the ceo. One of my tasks has been researching the topic digitalization in consulting. It was specifically asked for ways to exchange data with clients as well as monitoring the activity inside documents (notifications if changed, etc.) I did research on the topic and summarized everything in a word document, which i sent to my boss. It contained information on how to set notifications in sharepoint and some other useful software tools which we could use. Today we had a meeting where we discussed some other projects but in the end the ceo mentioned my work and told me with everyone in the room listening that MS Office (SharePoint) has nothing to do with digitalization and that it definitely would not have features to monitor activity, etc. He continued that my work therefore has no value. To be fair looking back my summary was not precise enough for him to understand. My theory is that he has only read the first two bullets, read „MS Office“ (which was not what he wanted to read) and stopped at this point. I don’t think he knows about all the features sharepoint brings but I did not dare to disagree with him or to correct him on that. It could also be possible that im wrong on that but my fellow interns all agreed with my theory mentioned above. Please let me know if you know any tools he wants to see and how you would handle the situation. Would you go and ask him to talk about what he expects, if there is any misunderstanding or would you keep quite, research further and present the summary more precisley.

Thanks guys :)
