Chief Millenial Officer

I was browsing LinkedIn and out of the corner of my eye, I saw the profile of Edwin Wee, Chief Millennial Officer at Stripe.

I couldn't help but wonder what in the hell the responsibilities of a "Chief Millennial Officer" are, and why the title even exists in the first place!

Have you guys heard of a "Chief Millennial officier" and do you have any insights as to what they do/how is that a c-level title?

I genuinely hope it's for interactions with "young people" even though some Millennials are about to turn 40 here soon.

Much like the media made a big fuss about those darn Millennials on spring break during the corona crisis when Millennials are actually mostly trying to work from home while raising their kids.

Chances are, the Chief Millennial Officer is a millennial himself and doesn’t even realize it!
