China’s State Sponsored Corporate Espionage

Personally I find this whole thing funny and childish even though it has serious consequences, and yet people insist doing business with China due to their cheap labor and huge population.
How long until China becomes a world power and leads the planet to a new era of prosperity and space exploration with the communist party at the head?
In your opinion what kind of stance or action should the US take?
