Comp negotiations? Tips?
Hi guys, I am having some good convo with the asked for expected comp, but I played the “want to know more about the role, firm, etc. before firming up”.
As I go through the interviews, I am sure that comp question will come up again. And I just realized I have 0 experience with negotiations/comp conversations (finished undergrad and came through internship program and did the whole analyst/associate thing … i’ve never negotiated during my time with my current firm.).
Any advice on how to do this correctly? Or in general best ways to approach negotiations on comp/salary/etc.?
