Coronavirus Conspiracy Theories

So what do you monkeys think happened?

-Was it intentional? -Was it China (or maybe even the US as China is claiming in their new book - https://www.economist.com/china/2020/03/07/chinas…)?

Apparently a similar outbreak was predicted in 1989 in a novel - https://www.scmp.com/lifestyle/arts-culture/artic…

People like you are the reason why the population and the markets are freaking the fuck out. The thing that's spreading faster than the virus is misinformation and stupidity. If everyone just chilled the fuck out, washed their hands, and stayed home / away from others when they don't feel well, this will all go away a lot sooner.

You're right. Just trust the CPC to deliver objective transparent information.

Agreed. My co-worker just sent me a PM saying that he's utterly terrified of coronavirus. I'm like, bro, you're in your mid-20s and healthy. You're fine. Wash your effing hands, if you're sick, stay home.

My company sent out 3 coronavirus emails in a single day, basically whipping people into a panic. I've never seen such terrible media, gov't, and corporate messaging before that almost wants to see panic.

Pandemics do not sink markets but high valuations can precede bear markets However, no one knows when it will happen. Stocks lost half of their value in the mid 70s, half of their value from 2000 to 2002 (certain parts) and half of their value in 2008/2009. Of course, there was tremendous performance outside of those periods. The older I get, the more I realize that predicting market returns with any accuracy whatsoever is very difficult.

I heard Donald Sterling started it to decrease NBA revenue because he was jealous of the money Steve Ballmer was making from owning the Clippers

I’m a fun guy. Obviously I love the game of basketball. I mean there’s more questions you have to ask me in order for me to tell you about myself. I'm not just gonna give you a whole spill... I mean, I don't even know where you're sitting at

Maybe take a more pragmatic view than concocting theories / reading random scrap on the internet? The reality is that the virus exists, so take whatever measures you can to prevent getting it if you're so worried about it. Have good hygiene and live life my man

How long before we get the thread: ''WSO quarantine zone''?

Never discuss with idiots, first they drag you at their level, then they beat you with experience.
