If everyone just chilled the fuck out, washed their hands, and stayed home / away from others when they don't feel well, this will all go away a lot sooner.

My company sent out 3 coronavirus emails in a single day, basically whipping people into a panic. I've never seen such terrible media, gov't, and corporate messaging before that almost wants to see panic.

Stocks lost half of their value in the mid 70s, half of their value from 2000 to 2002 (certain parts) and half of their value in 2008/2009. Of course, there was tremendous performance outside of those periods. The older I get, the more I realize that predicting market returns with any accuracy whatsoever is very difficult.
