Crazy Story about Adam Neumann, WeWork's former CEO
Looks like something from The Wolf of Wall Street.
"My WeWork Story" I'll share my own story about the time I met Adam. It was short and unexpected. I was at the Wework on Madison in an unrelated meeting. The community manager told me I should stay after because the founder was stopping by and "it would be cool". I thought to myself ok this is strange, why would he randomly walk around talking to people. That's not what happened at all. All of the sudden at exactly 5:30pm people started breaking out bottles of alcohol and office tables turned into beer pong tables. " interns" or models(?) All of the sudden swarmed the floor. It felt like I was in a well lit night club. Then Adam walked in through the elevator with like 20 more people and it really got crazy. A DJ came over the sound system out of nowhere. I thought to myself wtf is this... and a girl came up to me with a tray of shots and said "this is Wework".

This is such a shame for majority of employees who have trusted their CEO and accepted their offers to join the company. When Adam walks away with 700M+ dollars these employees now have to worry about cost cutting and mass layoffs. What a scammer smh..
He's walking away with closer to $1.7B. It's insane
Well I think he's smartest man i know, to have cashed out more money from the company than the company is actually worth. Definitely worth a movie/documentary/ book.
I'm pretty sure, with his ambition to become the 'President of the World', he would write a book about himself sometime soon.
Neumann is obviously a very intelligent guy. Mix high intelligence with sociopathy and you've got a person with a very good chance of becoming rich unethically but not illegally. Unfortunately for the rest of us, Neumann gives capitalism a bad name and provides justification for the authoritarians to make it more difficult for the rest of society to succeed.
At this rate the movie can't even catch up with these financial fuck ups. I'm still hoping for Bad Blood to be released at some point in the future.
