Curious about how some men date - A not so nice view - Let's talk

Hello everyone,

I realized after hanging out with a few older men in the finance world  how they're living multiple lives with different wives.

One Chat I had with a larger CRE portfolio owner (The 31 yr old son of a large family office) - Of over $2.1B in assets:

He told me how he has 2 families across the states and Canada. His #1 wife lives with him and his family in New Jersey. But she's a conventional 7.5 but with amazing family and personal morals (she's 4 yrs younger).

The guy after a few yrs in his marriage decided to find someone younger and more beautiful, but if his family and first wife found out, his dad would kick him aside from the family and so he won't let that happen. This guy literally hired a private PI & matchmaker (spending over $50k) in finding a down to earth 22 yr old from the Iraq (a conventional 9  in beauty with an english major). He then moved her and her family to Vancouver where he visits her 7 days a month.

He also keeps going on dates with random women whenever he's travelling out of state alone. When he wants to spend family time or Christmas, he travels to whichever wife he feels for.

The reason why it's easy for him to keep this going without it being exhausting is because of his #2 personal assistant  who makes sure all his non business relations and needs are met. He pays them well above the norm.

Also, the reason why he has wives is because he's a family man who wants to lock down women he adores.

None of the families and wives know of each other and the dude's wealth or family. He is a genuine dude who actually is kind and treats his wives and their family happy. The guy just loves women and can't get enough. He's a good friend of mine so I know him pretty well.

This got me thinking, does anyone else on here have this or wants this in their lives?

I don’t get having a second wife. Two 5’s are worth the same as a 10.

Good point, We talked about this. Basically he said - "boredom" and his long winded answer was -

"A 10 will come down to a 5 with enough yrs. So in order to have someone beautiful as you get older is to lockdown a nice girl whose younger and beautiful every decade or so"

Some peeps on here would find it wild and unethical, I agree, but its fascinating to me hearing about it and seeing it firsthand.

I guess with enough money, the world's your oyster to play all day in.

His family's business is strong, they make around $94m in revenues and around $28m in net income

I'm more so interested in the business tbh.

I want to thank you for sharing, most people are used to the conventional ways of relationships. For me having two wives and multiple girlfriends would just be to much to deal with. Eventually, all the women would meet each other....I rather have my girlfriends all know each other rather than the opposite.

I’ll take “movie straight to dvd” for $100 Alex.

That happened.

OP, I'm going to assume you've never had to deal with two women being interested in you at the same time, so I will share my experience.

I have casually dated 2-3 women at once and it was freaking exhausting every time. To the point that I ended up just settling with the one I liked more and not dealing with the other. And these are early stage relationships where it's very low maintenance, maybe one date a week, occasional texting, very little work. But still, it just wasn't worth my time or effort to juggle people like that.

Even when I'm single - having multiple text conversations going on with different women to set up dates is kind of a hassle and something I don't like dealing with. In order to have two actual wives, families, etc. you need to be a full-on sociopath.

My point is, the only way could be idealizing this guy is if you've never had to juggle relationships yourself. If you're a virgin, it sounds badass to have two women who want you. But once you've done it, it's not that special or exciting.

Yeah, I understand that but based on the original thread, one seems western and the other not. So culture also plays a part in this. Some wives in different cultures do not constantly bother the husband with needy issues, so it depends. Personally, I agree with your comments about two western women, if i am correct you are talking about western women.

Cultures don't play a part in my scenario, because these are women I've known for weeks / months and they're not even my girlfriend, and I see them once a week like I mentioned. OP is talking about a guy who is married with children - VASTLY different levels of commitment. My relationships were as low-maintenance of a relationship as you can get. Unless you think an "eastern" wife is somehow lower maintenance than a girl you've known for a few weeks, then nah I don't think that makes a difference.

Even two ultra low maintenance relationships were annoying for me. Juggling two different lives is just ridiculous. The amount of lying and secret-keeping required would be mentally exhausting. Maybe if you had two wives who knew about each other and were cool with it, fine

lol this is so true. Especially with dating apps, when single I am always seeing / talking to 4-6 women at once. It's great for the ego but fucking exhausting:

  • Getting their life details straight is impossible. Their families, interests, stories, etc. You will either forget about them or even worse - get them mixed up
  • In this day and age attention must be relatively constant. Doesnt mean text every minute but somewhat regular (daily) communication with somewhat regular (weekly or so) physical interaction. That means going out on weekdays a bit which can be exhausting, but weekends are prime real estate
  • Cant imagine the work to make sure the other doesnt find out - again in a social media age. Would be exhausting

Long story short, sounds like exponentially more drama for no return

Hello everyone,

The guy just loves women and can't get enough.

Having 2 women is not "can't get enough". "Can't get enough" is when you never marry and keep banging new ladies every week. With the money this guy has, he could do exactly this. There is absolutely no reason to spend so much money and energy to just bang 2 chicks: one of which is 7.5 and another 9 from Iraq. He could bang 100's of chicks instead.
