I've spent a little time in ATL. Great city. What part of town are you going to? I found Buckhead/Midtown great areas for a night out.

If you want to keep it upscale, I made a great date night out of dinner at Southern Art and Bourbon Bar followed by cocktails at Whiskey Blue (rooftop bar).

That's my 2 cents. Lots of great options though so it's hard to go wrong.

Pizza: Antico's or Fellini's on Ponce (sit outside by the fountain - had several first dates there)

No. 246 or Brickstore in Decatur. Brickstore is excellent for this time of year

Marcel or Bacchanalia or Atlas or Bones if you're going to throw some cash.

Ormsbys or Little Trouble on the Westside (ormsbys has a big bar game area)

Nuevo Laredo if you want a cozy mexican dive.

PM me if you need more suggestions

I have been on a couple dates to Eclipse Di Luna and Barcelona Wine Bar. Both are tapas places which are solid first date establishments IMO. Allows you to start with drinks and move to small plates if you think things are going well.

Other than that, I'd say grab drinks at Krog and then dinner at Rathbuns.
