Date Night Fragrances
What fragrances are you guys running. Looking for something with good projection/performance, but also smells good for late night winter, spring, autumn in London (think Dinner/Drinks/Special Occasions). I like dark, sleazy notes like rum, vanilla, tobacco, ambergis.
Was considering:
- Dolce and Gabbana, The One EDP
- Mason Margiela, Jazz Club
YSL, La Nuit De'Lhomme
Concerned around some of the performance of the above. Sometimes people recommend me frags like PDM Althaïr but I am not a fraghead to drop that much money on smelling nice
Paul Smith London if you can find it.
MM6 jazz club is very popular imho but it's hyped up for a reason. i'd highly recommend get this
another pretty classic is terre d'Hermes.

Used to think fragrance didn’t matter, was having an amazing date w a bombshell, then I made the worse fart this world has ever smelled. Like a cloud of decay just emanating. Just the two of us in the corner w no one else around. She tried to be polite by not acknowledging it but I could see the soul leaving her body. She never spoke to me again.
Don’t neglect smell, bois, it’s one of five equal senses.
Maybe just don't shit yourself on a first date as well
Trust me if I could’ve stopped it I would’ve. It was not a conscious decision. I was distracted trying to impress her in the conversation and didn’t realize I ripped one until it was already happening and I had just been drinking beer earlier and eating hot dogs and they somehow combined to the most putrid fermented gas cloud. I tried pushing my chair back and forth a few times to disperse the gas but she definitely realized and it did not help at all
every guy i know who copes with colognes is chopped AF
I starting using YSL, La Nuit De'Lhomme a couple months ago and I've gotten quite a few compliments.
D&G the one is awesome. If you have the funds nothing beats Creed Aventus
