Dating in IB

Just got on hinge and am starting to go on a handful of dates.

Are you usually able to fit in dates on week nights in IB? Obviously bound to get blown up every once in a while.

Also what’s your go to dating ladder to eventually go home together? E.g. 1st date is drinks, 2nd is dinner, etc.

Seems hard to bring someone home unless it’s the weekend or if you luckily have no work.

Tell her you got reservations at Dorsia. If she says "What is Dorsia?," ghost her immediately, she is trash.

What is Dorsia?

The best restaurant in NYC and possibly the world. Impossible to get reservations though.

In investment banking, scheduling dates on weeknights can be challenging due to the demanding nature of the job. However, it's not impossible to make it work if you plan ahead and communicate effectively. It's important to be upfront about your schedule limitations and find mutually convenient times to meet. As for the dating ladder, there's no one-size-fits-all approach, and it largely depends on individual preferences and chemistry. Generally, starting with casual dates like drinks or coffee allows for easy conversation and a low-pressure atmosphere. As the connection deepens, progressing to dinner or other activities can help foster a stronger bond. Ultimately, finding opportunities to spend quality time together, whether on weekends or weekdays, is key to building a connection and deciding if going home together is the right next step.

Obviously there is no fixed template or ladder. If I were you I would suggest no alcohol or fancy dinner in the first few meet up.
