Dave Chappell - Closer

I didn’t think it was super funny, but he had some good points.

Thought it was funny he said it’s “worse to offend a gay person than to kill someone” and his other LBGTQ comments seemed valid. But Dave is currently the only person who roasts the LGBTQ community - and Dave said the trannies are mad at him. But, Dave is Dave and he is used to getting shit. I applaud his efforts to speak without PC censoring himself. Again, I didn’t think it was super funny, but just a satirical view of current society.

It was okay. Not bothered by his rants but was rather disappointed he made the LGBTQ deal the focal point of yet another special. Gets old after awhile, want to see something fresh from the GOAT.

He is getting a bit old and has earned his stripes to go off on tangents, though.

Think actual best comedians right now are Mark Normand, Shane Gillis, and Theo Von. In terms of actual laugh factor, not fame level or special views.
