Oh dear, this thread is going to turn into a hate-fest fast if we're not careful.
Not sure if the OP is a college kid or an experienced professional, but it's obviously clear that he sobered up after a rare drunk post. Let's let it go. I've had my moments on the forum, too. (CC: "Sick Resume" thread)
Lol, yeah. It was definitely stupid. Some kid asked me for help getting him in some grad program and I was contemplating charging him for it... Thanks for the perspective WSO community!

Granted, wrong on so many levels , but I like how you come up with creative ways to generate the revenue! XD
I was enjoying reading the community backlash to the idea. Nice to know that a lot of people who post here have some pretty strong morals.
That said -- I wish I could charge anyone for reading any of my informative posts. $0.10 per person per post? Kinda like those banner advertisements...

People tend to think life is a race with other people. They don't realize that every moment they spend sprinting towards the finish line is a moment they lose permanently, and a moment closer to their death.

Haha, at least you had the decency to recognize the error, I'd +1 SB you if I had any, for stepping up...
Now I really want to see the thread. Could I please get a brief summary?

Dude was essentially going to sell his recommendation for some kid to a graduate school program.
