Lol, yeah. It was definitely stupid. Some kid asked me for help getting him in some grad program and I was contemplating charging him for it... Thanks for the perspective WSO community!

It was really more of a cost-benefit analysis considering he'd probably be worth more as a connection than the $250 he could pay...don't give everyone too much credit.
