Lse is also only 3 years, and has a better international name brand.

LSE has a better international name brand according to who?

LSE is ranked 236 Globally.

I think you should choose Duke.

The US is also like 5 times larger than Britain and has 20 times as many colleges. Simply by population (not accounting for the fact that top US colleges are a LOT smaller than top British colleges), UK top 2 (Oxbridge) is equivalent to US top 10. UK top 5 equivalent to US top 25. This is also broadly how internationals weigh up offers between the two.

here’s a take: you’ll probably have way more fun at duke. North carolina is pretty awesome, london is cold and rainy. go where your college experience will be the best, especially if you can afford it.

Buddy, he is talking about comparing the college experiences….not just the location. Going to Duke (or literally any American university) compared to an international school will undoubtedly be more fun. It’s not even a debate really.
