Demon Slayer Movie

Anyone seen it? Was fucking amazing, wanted to wait until theaters opened again, but fuck dubs, amirite guise?

Honestly, first 70% were only kinda okay, the main villain was super fucking boring, and I´m still waiting for my boy Zenitsu to get his well-deserved place in the sun, but atleast the fights were great, and we got some real baller animation. But holy shit, were the last 30% some of the greatest shit I´ve ever seen. Not gonna spoil here but fuck man, I honestly cried one or two times. So awesome.

Anyways, can recommend it to everyone, but watch out for those ninjas cutting onions.

I love the show but the movie felt a bit off to me. The main antagonist felt flat and I was pissed at the ending, they didn't give you know who nearly the character development they deserved.

I get you, he was really underdeveloped as a character, which is weird since KnY usually focuses on its villains quite a bit (spoiler warning, a certain fighter has a very well-told backstory), so I was kinda disappointed. Have to disagree with you if it´s about a certain fiery boy, the ending was so conclusive and exhaustive for his main motivations that it didn´t feel cut short at all.

fam,

I went to AMC to see this movie and I was mad. Im a big weeb, hence my username, and I went into this movie expecting great things since I read the manga and watch around 1-2 anime a week. I get in the theater hyped af and I hear a voice which sounded to me like English. Im like, " well, this can't be right. I am a man of culture who watches subbed only" as it turned out my theater only had the English version and I was stuck listening to inosuke's unbearable voice for hours and now the experience is ruined for me.

You are missing out, like, on literally THE best episode in the history of anime of the last 10 years or so. Not kidding. The entire series is highly worth it. Some might say it´s derivative, but that´s only if you overlook the subtle (and oddly Christian) undertones the series carries with it. It may be Shounen in its most pure form, but that doesn´t it isn´t wholesome and beautiful as fuck, which it is.
