Devastated Trader Pictures

Bad times fellow monkeys. My personal assets have taken quite a pounding in this recent economic slump, and I'm not even an active trader. Which brings up a question that I have for all of you S&T folks out there...

Every time something awful happens in the markets there are always pictures of devastated traders doing epic face-palms all over the media. WHO IS TAKING THESE PICTURES!?!?!

Are they stock images? Are they staged in some professional studio? Or is some asshole reporter actually coming into your office and taking pictures as you wallow in anguish??

Yes it's a stupid question but I really am quite curious.
