Difference Between Ukraine and Iraq & Afganistan

The hypocrisy of the US-led West is sickening, and it doesn't matter if you are liberal or conservative. You all make me sick.

Just pretend Ukraine is in Middle East and we will be fine guys. Life goes on.

In Iraq, the US toppled one of the most evil dictatorships on the planet in an attempt to bring democracy in the region and set up an independent government. In Ukraine, Putin has invading a country precisely because it is becoming more Western and Democratic, and with the goal of toppling the democratic government and expanding its regional dominance.

I agree that the Iraq war violated international norms should never have happened (Afghanistan is another matter – the US had to retaliate for 9/11), but the causes for these attacks could not be more different.

Afghanistan is another matter – the US had to retaliate for 9/11

Are you for real? Afghanistan and Afghans had F@CK ALL to do with 9/11. The attacks were carried out by Saudi nationals. If you are talking about Al Qaeda then it is worth remembering that the mujahedin and t Taliban were put in place by virtue of  USA funding to fight the Soviets.

The one thing however that is certain fact in our lifetimes is wherever there is evil and destruction you can be sure that the root of it is the f@cking USA.

I have to say this at the risk of dealing with the backlash because I genuinely can no longer keep quiet. What makes you think you would be welcome in Europe? Please don't come here.

We don't need your brand of hate in Europe, we have enough of our own. It's astounding how you guys have been on an outright de-humanising hate campaign for the past 20 years destroying everyone's peace of mind and general congeniality… first it was the Muslims, then you added Mexicans, then the Blacks, now the Chinese  - yet you think you have the 'Freedom' to move wherever you want?

Don't come here. 'Stay at Home'.

This is what this guy posted earlier: man is room temp iq.  Thinks that all Americans are klan members but Afghanistan had nothing to do with 9/11, even though it was the base of the terrorists.

Al Qaeda attacked the US unprovoked. The Taliban than allied with Al Qaeda and refused to turn over Bin Laden. There is literally no country in the world that would not have attacked the Taliban in that scenario.

I am aware that the US historically backed the Taliban against the Soviets, but that has literally nothing to do with the point I'm trying to make - that following 9/11 the attack on Afghanistan needed to happen. Doesn't matter whether the US historically supported the Taliban, for protecting Al Qaeda they needed to be attacked.

The U.S. is not the arbiter of truth, we had 0 right to dismiss another country's sovereignty (Iraq / Afghanistan) and disrupt their way of life. You literally speak the words of a colonizer with how we killed and destroyed the Native Americans and how the West destroyed the Mesoamericans in the name of bringing them 'civilization'

This is one of the dumbest posts I have seen on this site.

You are literally the dumbest person on this site.

Your title is “Difference Between Ukraine And Iraq & Afganistan” and you outlined nothing. Get real bro.

I have many Middle Eastern and Muslim friends. Completely agree with you.

The world was quiet when it was Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine,Libya and Syria.

Ppl are literally selling babies and children in Afghanistan right now so that they can eat and Biden wants Afghan frozen assets to be divided up between Afghans and 'victims of 9/11'. F@ck that shit!

Noe one gives a crap about people in the Middle East here in the West. It's really sad. They're not poor enough for the savior complex (i.e. Africa) and/or they're not white unlike the Ukrainians

Also people in the West fundamentally believe democracy is the only way of life and any country that has a different system is by default terrible and evil
