Django

Saw it a few days ago. It was awesome! I think the audience rating is warranted. If you have seen Inglorious Basterds then you'll like this. I liked Django more than the Basterds even

Was one of my favorite movies of the past 5 years, so good.

It's pretty Tarantino if that gets you off. Probably 30 minutes too long but it is worth seeing in theaters.

Can't comment on Django but I did see Les Mis. It is a pretty good production. I was pleasantly surprised by Amanda Seyfried's singing voice. The only distraction is Russell Crowe. I almost felt sorry for him as he struggled to hit the high notes but just couldn't quite get there. This role was just not suitable for him. The ending sequence is very moving.

Very good. On par, if not slightly better than, Inglourious Basterds.

Outstanding movie--everybody is perfectly cast, and somehow creating art while spoofing blaxpoitation/spaghetti western is something that is uniquely Tarantino. I think it's a bit better than Inglorious Basterds, and yes, 2 hr 45 min runtime is a tad long. But there's nothing like seeing Jamie Foxx rock out to 2pac pre-Civil War in a movie.

Samuel Jackson is absolutely hilarious. Definitely way too long and Tarantino can be a little much sometimes but the movie is top notch.
