As an agnost, I find religions interesting from a philosophical point of view as a debate on our existence. Don't really take a view on which one is better.
Although - buddhism does seem interesting ...

There is some scientific evidence that we can influence the physical world through our minds. This is the basis for positive psychology. Karma is an extension of that. Also explains things like placebo effects, etc. It's weird stuff, and science doesn't really understand what's going on. There's speculation that it's some weird quantum effect, which would be really cool if we could figure out how it works. :)
