Do you ever feel like Larry David?

In Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry David finds himself in wildly complex, sometimes inextricable situations. Each one is marked by a unique web of crazy, intertwined, colliding circumstances. It’s usually partly Larry’s fault, partly coincidental.

I often find myself in such situations, most of the time within the context of my career and my quest to break into investment banking. It’s all the networking, BSing with tons of different people, referrals, pursuing grad school, searching for future internships, performing at your current internship. These are all ambiguous endeavors. Plus, non-career factors, as well as every-day-life stuff, definitely add to the mix, especially if you’re in undergrad.

Can anyone relate, or am I just as crazy as LD?

I'd hardly call Curb a sitcom. Its by far my favorite show, and its probably because I can relate to the character. Larry finds himself in a hyper-sensitive society, and he refuses to be bound to social convention. Curb is a really fascinating look into the ethical philosophy of nihilism (the idea that everything is meaningless). Looking forward to season 8.
