Do you like your co-workers or are they just a pain to be around? Do they have a sense of humour or are they just dead serious all the time?

Career Resources
they are ok and laid back but somewhat unambitious.
I don't think you'll ever have perfect peers.
one guy I work with is like ~47, just wants to do his job and go, no ambition to progress. good banter and attitude but he gets stressed out about trivial things.
They're a'ight. I don't really kow them that well.
Finance, law attract some of the worst personalities in the white-collar world. Very few careers are filled with so many sociopaths and losers who use their income to justify that they aren't total losers in other facets of life (i.e no hobbies, no meaningful friendships, no positive impact on the world outside of work).
I'm sure someone who masturbates to the idea of working at KKR is going to monkey shit me, but you are delusional if you disagree with this
haha agreed.
You missed Tech, which is the worst about this.
h8 sociopaths (no offence to half the people here)
Yes, I've mostly loved my coworkers. Over the last 10 years, I still maintain close friendships with somewhere around 10 current or former co-workers. Given that most people don't have a lot of close friendships (less than 5?), I feel pretty blessed to have 10 close ones who I worked with at one point.
I work in RE so a bit of a different crowd, but it's hit or miss, there are some weird people, but generally like the people who work on the Acq./AM side of the business.
Yep! One of the reasons I haven't left IB. Analysts are chill, Associates/VPs are cool and friendly for the most part, and Directors and MDs make me feel like a real part of the team and do seem to care about my development and quality of life.
some of them are okay, some are snubs and some are a**holes
neutral on them. my direct team I enjoy working with but I wouldn't consider us friends. I'm congenial with everyone else and I would say on balance it's pleasant tolerance, rather than "liking" them. definitions matter, so let me expand. if I "like" someone, I would go out of my way to spend my free time with them, including weekends. I'd also share more about myself personally and not always have the professional filter on (may not discuss psychedelics, but other things are fair game). no one at my firm meets that criteria, though I think I'm an anomaly, I am deliberate about keeping my personal life and professional life 100% separate.
