Do you play computer games?
Hey Guys,
Holidays are coming up and I suddenly recalled that I used to spend my holidays playing World of Warcraft, Counter Strike, Starcraft, Team Fortress...but recently I've found myself so busy with school, relationship, extracurriculars, family...I have not even had the time to open up steam on my Computer.
I know that most of the people here are really focused and some of you guys might shun computer games but...do any of you guys have the time to play? And if you do what games? :)

Drop some savage Corinthian knowledge on him... :)

Except when Starcraft 2 came out, that ish was awesome
I will tell you this - I thought I was okay at Starcraft. Of course, then I did a transfer placement in Korea for a Big 4 before and we had a few drinks; they mention starcraft and I say I'm good at it, to my drunken stupor.
We went to an internet cafe and it was such an utter destruction. I had to watch the match finish without me within 15 minutes.. that's as far the gaming experience goes for me. It was proper awkward the next day at the office.
I've been playing Civ 5 for a long time now, still haven't upgraded to 6 and I don't think I will for the foreseeable future.
Tons of strategy in this game and no two games are alike, I can only win maybe 50% on the medium difficulty (King). The AI can really kick your ass and you really have to be involved in the minutia of all the strategies to be an excellent player.
Highly suggest it if you're into a game like this.
I also use to play SimCity but I didn't like the most recent one, SimCity 4 was a great game and has a huge modding community out there.
Oh no! Now you have a life, responsibilities and hopefully other ambitions to fill you're time.
In all seriousness I would drop Extracurricular, relationship, school and family in that order. If not you can always pay those asian companies that play games for you.
I think video games (or computer games in my case) can have a place in adult lives, just not at the expense of socializing, exercising, etc. Some weeks I don't get to play at all, other weeks it's 1-2 hours, but I still enjoy them as a form of decompressing while I listen to a mindless sports/comedy podcast at the same time.
I play league in my off time but when I'm working I just have no interest. It's really out of boredom and I find that it's a good competitive release. Used to play baseball and kind of lost the soul of competition, as lame as that sounds...
Sim City. That game is what got me into real estate in the first place.
Not sure if you're into the old school stuff, but I recently discovered there are free emulators out there for Warcraft 2...

Basically have spent the past week at work uniting the clans!
I love playing computer games.
