Do your In-Laws suck?

For those of you that are married/in a long-term relationship, do you despise going to your significant others family outings? I honestly never minded going to her family holidays prior to graduating college, but now that I work in Finance it's almost unbearable. The minute I tell someone where I work or what I do, I'm immediately shunned. It's like I just bad-mouthed Barrack Obama.

I could understand if I came to the outing sporting some ridiculous hand-made suit, but I honestly try to dress-down at such events. Anyone else have similar experiences?
