Norwegian Wood was good. Sputnik Sweetheart was weird, but I sorta enjoyed it as well. There are a few others.
i read that one about sheep for AP English. I'm honestly not really a fan of his work at all. Don't enjoy his writing style.

I'm a huge fan, but I prefer the less crazy books like Norwegian Wood and South of the Border, West of the Sun
Read Kafka on the Shore maybe 3 years ago. Got real weird in the end.
The Wind Up Bird Chronicle and Norwegian Wood are his best works. He has a unique style, but he is pretty overrated relative to some other Japanese authors. Check out Kazuo Ishiguro and Yukio Mishima for something that is more nuanced and powerful.
