I would be super happy to go back to the late 90s and very early 2000s in terms of the internet. It existed and you could find niche communities but it wasn't the toxic dump and time waste that it is today.

Over the course of a week I went through instagram and unfollowed anyone I haven't spoken with in the past year. I went from having 1500 followers to about 200. It has already improved my mental health drastically. Since I dont follow that many poeple anymore, there's less to see on the app which makes me open it less and less, and I just dont have to care or think about what all these other people are up to. Hopefully by the end of the year I will just delete all my social media all together

Dating apps have amplified the importance of  looks in the selection criteria. For those who are good-looking, the apps have made things easier. If you aren't a Chad, it's a waste of time.
