I believe philanthropy is a great way to truly make a change, so why not get started now? I'm looking to get involved once I begin FT even if it's for an hour or two on Sundays, but I do not know of any organizations. What do you all do to give back?

I agree. Doing community service doesn't do anything most times. Sure it helps, but it has a marginal, if any, impact on the root/ cause of the problem.

Is there a cause you are into? Ive done everything from packing food to be sent to third world countries to teaching adult ESL English and elementary mathematics. If you have a hobby that you are passionate about maybe there is a way to teach children in an after school program.
